I've always loved doing any kind of art. I was a graphic designer for 30 years and loved it, but it was pretty limiting. I picked up some colored pencils one day and rediscovered how much fun being creative and free is. Then I moved on to watercolors and enjoyed the heck out of it. I've always loved doing any kind of art. I was a graphic designer for 30 years and loved it, but it was pretty limiting. I picked up some colored pencils one day and rediscovered how much fun being creative and free is. Then I moved on to watercolors and enjoyed the heck out of it. One day my daughter decided to do a mosaic with a mirror and that's all she wrote. I've been making mosaic art for over a decade and have no plans to stop!

My Background
I was born to be a mosaic artist! I love creating extraordinary images with glass, beads, old china, flood debris and whatever else strikes my fancy. The intricacy of each design is realized after carefully considering color and flow. Every piece of glass (and whatever else I've decided in include) is hand cut and placed. I'm very proud of my precise craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I've never met a color I didn't like, so my work tends to be bright and cheerful. I'm a big fan of pattern and movement, so you'll see a lot of that in my work too. I'm always trying to learn and challenge myself to become a better artist, so some pieces can be a little out there. Often times, those are the ones I like best!
